Hey Fly friends! You know how “white” is typically for Summer and “black” is preferred in the Winter, unless you’re a NYer, you wear black year round? Do you ever find yourself wearing certain patterns and prints seasonally, as well? I can’t seem to get enough of plaid in this Winter. Skirts, scarfs, … and of course, jackets! Bring the 90’s back …
On days I can get away with wearing only my fav plaid jacket & a few layers, I jump on it!
I have this same jacket in blue plaid too but, for some reason I don’t give it enough play. I guess classic really does always win over trendy. I’ll wear this baby to the ground!
NATURAL HAIR JOURNEY UPDATE: Lately, I’ve just been trying to retain moisture, as you know. Still heatless although I’m itching for February to roll around. I need a quick break. But, I’ve been a little scissor happy with my ends. So for now, I’ll keep styling with Cantu Leave-In Conditioner and a little olive oil. It goes a long way! I haven’t had to redo my hair in a while! Thank goodness because I keep fighting these colds off with hot tea & oranges.
Back to the outfit though — Everything I’m wearing is old. Hehe. My mom’s hand-me-down jacket, old suede over-the-knee boots that I still obsess over (probably because I bought them for $20) & one of my favorite Dooney & Bourke vintage bags that I thrifted this Summer.
Before the details, make sure you’re following me on Instagram — dope things to come! Don’t be stranger, let’s chat!
