Vintage Dior & Overalls.

While talking with my Closet Clean Out client, I had to remind her and myself to stop waiting to wear your outfits and just rock them now! So, I sucked up the heat and rocked a blazer!

Behold! This is not just any blazer. It’s literally my favorite and beloved blazer, found among trash and treasures at the bottom of a box in the thrift store. What I didn’t think would get much wear has received the most!Oh, and did I mention it’s Dior? Yup, it’s a Christian Dior vintage blazer that I purchased for $20. Whoever is still sleeping on the thrift is just playing themselves. So play on playa! I’m in love with thrifting. Now let’s discuss these overalls! They’re everywhere. Trending in white, black, denim, long, short … its overall mania! This is one trend — and 90’s favorite — I couldn’t deny myself of. I’ve tried them all (well, all at the thrift) and these are the babies that found a home in my heart and in my closet. For a measly, $7 who in their right mind would say no?All smiles. All vintage everything. Blazer, vintage. overalls, vintage. bag? you already know, vintage! my BCBG shoes are the only non thrifted and vintage item being worn in this outfit. Since yow know I’m not one to pay retail for many things, did you really think these would be the exception? Never that. Purchased at DSW for close to 80% off, they’re so special to me. I don’t wear them much but I love the patent leather peep toe and GOLD tipped heels. Ahhh, the details baby. To go with the gold hardware on my Dooney & Bourke crossbody-turned-clutch. For the rest of the summer when it’s time to get dressed and I see those “occasion outfits” hanging I usually bypass, I am telling myself what I say when I want a Snickers … “Why wait?” Tell me if you do the same #WhyWaitCoco
