met up with my gal pal for a manicure and pedicure date. since they wanted to charge and arm and a leg for hand design, I just opted for a pretty salmon color. Although they didn’t do the best job on my pedicure, I enjoyed girl time with my friend.
I met up with another gal pal to go have lunch and check out the latest at Ikea.
of course we got our usual, chicken fingers and fries. I prefer, Pepsi. B likes Coke. We both enjoy ketchup way too much. After walking around Ikea and feeling so uninspired, we just went to the mall for some retail therapy.
By the time we were done shopping, my friend had called and wanted to meet up for drinks at our local bar. Come to find out our local Irish pub has turned mainstream and there is now a cover charge to get in on Thursday nights.
Note to the wise : find a new Thursday night spot. Lazy’s isn’t it anymore.
Ended up at everyones favorite Plan B spot, Houlihan’s, and did the usual damage.
Seriously, how could you go wrong $5 appetizers ?
Fried calamari, loaded cheese fries, boneless buffalo wings.
I washed it down with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and my friend had a Long Beach Iced tea.
Next time I’ll take pics before the food was devoured. Poor little guys didn’t stand a chance.
